Very roomy, very cheeerful staff, lots of facilities, well equipped, a bargain
The loud music by the pool all day. You wouldn't want a poolside room unless you wanted tinny loud music driving you mad all day.

We had a lovely, clean and spacious apartment. We were lucky to be in the block nearest the sea. A pity the weather was exceptionally cold. The location is quite near Cape Canaveral.
-
Near to the Beach, Kennedy Space Center and the Port Canaveral.
Our room was next to the street, and we would have liked to have any place outside the room to sit down and relaxed. Like a chair and a little table.
-
What I liked best about Wakulla Suites was their location. Cocoa Beach is a nice coastal town to visit. This was very close to the beach.
The room was not so clean.
-
That there were 2 bedrooms and a kitchen area.
I would take the name "resort" out of the title. It certainly wasn't a Resort, more of a motel, but having 2 bedrooms (especially with three young children) offset the dated appearance of the facility.
-
Close to ocean, a lot of space in room, excelent pool, beautiful garden, large living- room
-
We enjoyed our stay. The tropical setting and over 100 different types of tree and plants. Grills were spaced so they are close to each room. The service was great and everyone was polite. We will be back. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.
-
The access to the beach, not a lot of walking and you dont have to cross traffic, just walk down from the hotel, walk back and you're at the pool. There's a Taco Bell on the opposite corner and gift shop accross the street, no need to move your car for everything. There's supermarkets and clothing stores nearby as well.
The bed had a dip in the middle, but we moved to another, less used bed in the adjoining bedroom. It is very spacious. Not like a hotel room but more like a small two bedroom apartment.

The hotel personnel was very friendly, location is within walking distance from Cocoa center. the garden and swimming pool are very nicely maintained. Room was large, well equipped and fairly clean
room could have been slightly cleaner, but nothing unovercomeable!!!

After what transpired below, talked to the front desk and w/their apologies, we were offered a very nice, lower unit...I Was told they would send someone to help us move our luggage, but somehow, no one ever showed up and I wound up doing it myself and consequently wound up aching for the remainder of our stay. My wife & I both have severe handicap problems. At any rate, the remainder of our stay was enjoyable and we wish to extend our gracious thanks to Caryn (housekeeping) and to Alan (front desk).... They are exceptional people and you should be proud of them.
We had requested a handicap, lower unit and were assigned to an upper unit & being tired from travels, we just needed to rest & reluctantly moved into the upper. After a day or two of stairs, I went to the front desk with complaints...a dripping ceiling in the bathroom over the commode, an extremely noisy fridge and the room assignment.
-
The space you had in the Suites. It was like staying in a condo/apt. Like home away from home.

I stayed at Wakulla Suites the previous weekend. I arrived at Wakulla Suites at 9:00AM (9/22) to secure my previous reservation 9/21/12 for a decent vacant suite, also I knew check in was 6 to 7 hours later. Jim, the frontman recommended returning at 2 PM. The room was second floor buried between the bamboo and the grill, difficult to locate, carry luggage from the parking lot, up either the ramp or steps, then up the steps. The access or escape route was a personal injury lawyers dream! Trying to be objective, I never mentioned any of my thoughts to my significant other. Upon our departure she mentioned the adjacent suites Cocoa Inn Suites next time, she has a gilf never to criticize.

Pool and ocean and size of room
Security was lax and people were able to walk into resort without much interference
-
It was so close to the beach, which was easy on little legs. We wanted a suite style, with a kitchen, at least one bedroom and a living area, instead of a traditional hotel room. This had 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen. It was perfect for our 3 kids.
The pool and courtyard were loud and crowded, but we were there for the beach anyway.
-
Great value! Loved having 2bedrooms and full kitchen. Our courtyard view room was quiet. We had three kids between 15 and 11 and a 6 month old. Plenty of room. We will definitely be back next year!
